There are penguins here

We have been walking lots, well, mostly running around in circles followed by the LSWD (low slung wrinkly dog (basset)) Jackson. We walk on the beach, and on the grass, and on the rocks, and on the mountains, and in the valleys. There are lots of walks.

Dog riot.

On one beach walk we met a funny thing called a penguin. Apparently it is a bird but this cannot be right as it cannot fly, instead it waddled off into the sea when we went to look at it.

Does it have a chocolate covering?

We were not allowed to chase it and it was not even covered in chocolate.

Bummer.

OK. So you have penguins... don't rub it in. And besides, the ones we have here ARE covered in chocolate so ours are better. So there! LOL

Thank you very much for the kind words about Wally. We know you know all too well the pain of loss and it does help to hear from friends.

They shouldn't have held you back; Dogs and penguins are mortal enemies, and you can't trust those little tuxedo'd sneaks as far as you can throw 'em. Trust me: I've seenWallace and Gromit, and I know.
