Sweet 16.

Hello everyone, it's my birthday today and I am sixteen years old. My mum is a bit surprised about this, and slightly perplexed, I think it must be because she is so old and does not understand us youngsters.

Anyway - I started the day by wolfing (no pun intended) down breakfast (with added risotto) then scrumping for strawberries from the strawberry pot.

As a special surprise, Ernest's mum flew all the way from Seattle, just to see ME, and give me a medal she won. She gave me smooches, I love her.

Later mum took me for a walk by the river and I met a lion.

Then I got even more extra lamb in my dinner, and a birthday pork pie. It was yummy.

Apparently now I am 16 I can...
1) buy cigarettes or tobacco
2) leave school
3) choose my own doctor
4) claim social security benefit
5) work full time
6) leave home with my parents’ consent
7) get married with one parent’s consent
8) drink wine or beer with a meal in a restaurant
9) hold a licence to drive a moped
10) buy a ticket in the National Lottery

So, if I take him out to a nice restaurant and ply him with wine.... do you think Finnegan's mum will let me marry him? I'll even invest in a lottery ticket. Not sure about going to work though. Ir the moped, could be tricky.

I'll just lie here and dream of Finn for a bit.

It's a right laugh this 16th birthday thing, I think I will do it all week!

Happy Sweet 16 Megan! I think you should get a moped and drive around town, that would be something. Wags & kisses, Spencer.

Happy burpday! I didn't even know it was your burpday and you are 16 which is pretty darn awesome! In America you could not drink the liquor but you could drive the car which means you COULD take off with the Godfather's car, leave it somewhere sneaky, and keep him at home.

wally.

ps. Old folks rule! My real age is unknown but I'm somewhere up near you.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Oh wow, you're 16? I guess I don't have to worry about my old age anymore, considering I'm just 6.

You look great for your age! And now you can DRIVE?! You are so lucky!

Happy birthday beautiful.

It's a good idea to make your birthdays last as long as possible, master and mistress are always having birth weekends, or birthweeks.

What a fine breakfast too - risotto and strawberries is one of my favourite breakfast accompaniments.

Pippa xx birthday kisses

Oh, Meg! You are so lucky to be SIXTEEN! We can't do any of that grown up stuff that you get to do. In fact, we'll have to wait until we're EIGHTEEN in America to drop out of obedience school and TWENTY-ONE to have wine with our kibble! WTD? It just isn't fair.

Enjoy every waking moment! We're jealous, but so so happy.

HAPPY BARKDAY!

Wiley & Fievel

P.S. We share a barkday, Meg! How cool is that? xo, Fievel

A very happy happy birthday to you Megan. I'm sure Finn will be saying yes so I will go out and get a hat in readiness.

what is your secret? All things being well, I am set to become a senior next year so I need to know how to do it in style and keep my looks like you.

Wow you look great for being a senior, let me tell you! You and Finnigan are just so cool. Mom loves those IWs.

I'm sorry I haven't been around. It took some time to get the woman out of her funk over losing our cat Binaca. I promise to do better.

Megan, happy birthday.
Are you an Irish Wolfhound?
I saw a bunch of Irish Wolfhounds here at the fairgrounds for a show.
Oh my gosh, they were all so sweet and big! Really big some of them!

I've added a link to this blog to my blog. Hope you don't mind.
Best wishes.

Oh I see, your new sibling calls you a Deerhound. Hope you're not offended. I thought you were awfully cute for an Irish Wolfhound.

Meg, you are so beautiful! Happy 16 sweetie! I'm sure that Finn could never resist you... so you'll just have to get past his mum! My mommy says that I HAVE to turn out to be the longest living doggie ever because she can't imagine how she'd handle losing me. Poor Mommy, she worries too much... but, it's cuz she loves me so much! I'll be 7 in a couple months... gosh, that's not even close to 16!!! I hope you'll visit my Mommy's blog when it's my birthday!
Happy happy sweet 16.
Love,
Molly-Collie
