How cold can it be?

My Turn (Boots here).

It looks like winter is here, it's been very chilly in the mornings. The humans don't seem to understand us lurchers REALLY feel the cold. They still want us to go outide first thing, even when it's DARK.

For dog's sake, when the sun is up the gras still looks like this:

And they want us to go out in it?
No way, I'm not budging:

Tealeaf won't budge:

Megan won't budge:

Cleo won't budge:

But there's always ONE dissenter isn't there....

Look - there's even ICE in the water bowl? That dog is HARD!

Ah, yes, but I thought it's been already established that KuBrin is not *quite* all there? Otherwise why would he do silly things like destroy the oven, pretend to be a Basset Hound, and voluntarily go outside and drink out of an icy water bowl? Methinks he is just trying to get attention and be special, and get noticed, as usual. Someone should tell him it's mighty difficult to miss spotting a Wolfhound, so no attention seeking behaviors are needed!!!

I would just love to snuggle up and have a warm and snuggly snooze with you all, except that ice in the water dish would be a riot to play with! Sorry lurhcers, I'm with KB!

I'm a 6am dog me. Well, 5.30 if I can persuade master. It's dark, but it isn't cold. And there are always cats.

I have the opposite problem - Tilly likes to go out and lie happily on the frost-covered grass....!

I spend the rest of the year working on my fat stores so that I will have a nice coat of chub come winter. I highly recommend it. And blankies. And laps.

ooooh Boots! You will have to swap living places with me, we have no ice yet here in Scotland (well apart from the darn football result of course!) I cannot believe it is sooooo darn cold with you down there in the soft South!

love and warm Scottish Licks, Marvin xxxxxxx

Oh even though it's cold, how I wish I was nearer to you... all you cute pups. Perhaps even cuddled on that sofa, though your owners would think it strange, never having met me.
You see there is a reason, for I have fallen madly in love with a man who lives near Manchester and Berkshire is only a few hours drive. So even though I'm enjoying the warmth of California, my heart is there in England and who cares really who might put me up on a sofa of dogs, so long as my Stuart will find his way to me.
He loves dogs by the way...
Was very tolerant of my Black lab Annie who persists to always claim the bed as her own.
Oh, I'll dream of cold cold England tonight. All the cuteness that lives there, canine and human.

Brrrrrrrrr! Sorry, we can't comment now. We've got to go cover up from just having seen all that coldness. Poor hounds! Come to Kentucky and we'll warm you up by a nice fire. And it was in the 70's today!

Brrr, that looks cold! I think you should petition for blankets to snuggle up in!

Brrrrrr. Wise Guys!
We really hate the cold (only if there are cats can leave the garden)

Dogs don't have to speak do they? One look can speak a thousand words!

I particularly love Megan's face.
