I've figured it out.
I have the answer, I've worked out were those silly humans are going wrong and why they are not as happy as lurchers.
I really have.
It all goes wrong at the start of the day, it's called "Getting up".
Silly humans.

I love getting up. It is the best time of the day. Firstly it means cat hunt time, rapidly followed by lots and lots of breakfasts. Including TOAST.

Seriously! If the alarm clock makes them so angry, why do they set the darned thing in the first place?!?!?

Well, I'm glad when my humans get up because it means they're awake and they might play with me. But I don't see why they have to be so grumpy when they do get up.

Yes, but there is breakfast to consider... We like to roust our sleeping Servant for our breakfast and walkies and then we go back to sleep. Ha! Life is good!

I'm with you! My mom got up at 5 am this morning. 5 am! I got up at 8. Much more civilized.
