Us lurchers don't like the heat
It's just tooooo hot...
QB & Leafo have bagged the breezy spot on the floor
Megan is a spoiled hound and has her own boudoir, it's the coolest room in the house..
Bootsie is trying to do his black dog on a black background disappearing act... that way he can pretend he does not exist and therefore he won't feel hot, it's a thinking lurcher's thing.
I've stolen the big dog's bed again, but am hanging my head out for maximum cooling factor.
Can we join in the ice-cream game... pleeeeeeeease...

We know how you feel for sure - it has been in the high 90s to 100 here for over a week and those funny weather people that Mommy & Daddy listen to on that square box with pictures on it keep saying that it's going to be that hot for at least a whole nuther full week! I wish my Daddy would go get our little swimming pool out! I saw in the picture of Meg that your Mommy or Daddy must be just like our Mommy - LOVES books! I saw lots of books - and next to us of course, my Mommy loves books a whole lotta bunches! I hope you guys (and us too) get a break from being so hot very soon!

wow! we had the heat yesterday in bonnie Scotland.....but today it has rained all bloomin day.

It is not that hot here, but I am still taking advantage of cool wood floors.

Too hot? Noo... we went for a lovely long W in the sun, I had a bit of a paddle and a lick or two of ice cream, but although my mums were tired when we got home I was ready to go again after a biscuit and a quick drink!! I wanted to play ball but my mums said no, I was too hot. And even our neighbour who looks after me during the week when my mums are at work said no!! I managed to get them to throw it a couple of times by dropping it at their feets and I was only panting a little bit...
